About Me

My Origin

Born in Kilkenny, Ireland, raised in a bar, I started dealing with customers at the age of 12 and started designing around 16. Throughout the years, I developed a creative eye and a patient ear. Living around Ireland, and other countries such as India, Cambodia, and Mexico has given me a passion for languages, foods, history and exploring.

My Background

My creative career began, with designing posters and menus, before developing on to photographing and shooting videos of events. I went to college to study Fine Art Digital Media and Visual Culture at the National College of Art & Design as an undergraduate degree. While there, I volunteered my summers working in India & Cambodia as a teacher in rural communities. Since leaving college, I have worked in different areas from remote video work, Weddings in the Riviera Maya, fashion and e-commerce photoshoots and packaging design/content design for book series. In the last year, I discovered my passion for UX design, combining my logical problem-solving skills, with my people skills and empathy, expressing them through my attention to detail creativity to produce fantastic products.

My Goals

I don't want to stop developing, and I don't want to stop learning.
I am a natural puzzle and problem solver. I aim to put the users first in my design approach while using my experience to create something stylish and interesting. I want to make a product that I can be proud of, I am a team player, working at my strongest when I can bounce ideas around with people but I have no problem going out on my initiative to get the job done. I am looking for a company that fits that description too. Gives me a challenge, a chance to learn, tales pride in its outcome but puts users first.
